MILLING, PAVING PLANNED ON U.S. 501, CAMPBELL COUNTY

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Motorists on U.S. 501 in Campbell County need to plan for possible delays when milling and paving operations start on Monday, August 16.

C. R. Abbott, contractor for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), will perform this work from 7 am to 6 pm each day, Sunday to Friday through August 27. The work will occur between Swinging Bridge Road (Route 605) and Carolina Avenue (Route 1116).

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to this work. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, slow down and be alert to the presence of crews and equipment.
